Can I run more than one website from one account?

What one account holds on the free plan

The custom domain is the figure to watch. One address is one address.

One domain, one website

systeme.io is direct about it: a domain can only be assigned to one website at a time. If the one you want is already linked elsewhere, you remove it from that website first.

Open Sites, then Websites, find the one holding the domain, click its three-dot menu, then Settings, and click the X icon beside the domain field.

A warning appears when you do it, and it is worth reading rather than clicking past.

Removing it has a cost. The website you took it from is deactivated and stays unreachable until another domain is assigned to it. So freeing a domain for a second site takes the first one offline, and it stays offline until you give it a replacement.

Sub-accounts are the real answer

A sub-account is a full systeme.io account created from inside yours. They are made under your profile picture, at Sub-accounts, then Create, and each one asks for a name and a subdomain such as project-1.systeme.io.

There is no cap. systeme.io states you can create an unlimited number of sub-accounts, on a free plan as well as a paid one.

What a sub-account gets

• The same resource limits as the main account, set by whichever plan you are on. On a plan allowing 10 funnels, the main account gets 10 and each sub-account gets 10.
• Its own systeme.io subdomain, editable later under that account's Custom Domains.
• Separate statistics, so each project is measured on its own.
• Its own payment gateway, which is what makes several brands or clients workable side by side.

systeme.io uses the term sub-account for two different things. This page describes the built-in Sub-accounts feature above. A separate, unrelated pattern also goes by that name: an agency signs a client up for their own paid plan or free trial under a separate email address, then adds themselves as an administrator to manage it. That second kind is a fully independent account on its own plan, and does not inherit the main account's resource limits the way the Sub-accounts feature above does.

You move between them from the Sub-accounts list, using Log in to sub-account. Sales funnels, newsletters, email campaigns, courses and custom blocks can be shared from one account into another.

The rule that catches people out

Sub-accounts are not a product to resell. Publicly offering them as lifetime deals, or at prices under systeme.io's own subscriptions, is a breach of the terms and conditions and can suspend the account immediately.
