Should I build my website with a funnel or a blog?

There is no third option

systeme.io does not have a button that says build a website. It has funnels and it has blogs, and a website is made out of one of those two.

Pick the blog if

• You will keep adding pages over time
• You want posts, categories and a menu
• The site is bigger than a handful of pages

Pick a funnel if

• You need a home page, an about page and a contact page, and that is it
• The site exists to get somebody to one action
• You are not planning to publish anything regularly

The one rule you cannot get around

Only one page on your domain can be the home page. It can be a blog page or a funnel page, but you have to choose. You cannot point the root of your domain at both.

So if you build a blog and a funnel, decide up front which one a visitor lands on when they type your domain.
