Can two systeme.io accounts send from the same domain?
No. systeme.io says a domain can only be authenticated in one account or sub-account. Once it is authenticated it becomes exclusively linked to that account, any other account where it was still pending has it removed automatically, and a later attempt is refused with an error message.
The rule, in systeme.io's own words
A domain can only be authenticated in one systeme.io account or sub-account. Once it is successfully authenticated it becomes exclusively linked to that specific account.
What happens to the other account
Anywhere the same domain was still pending, systeme.io removes it automatically. And if you try to add a domain that is already authenticated elsewhere, its wording is that the system will not allow it and displays an error message.
So the account that successfully authenticates is the one the domain is exclusively linked to.
The version of this that bites in practice
Not every version of this shows up when you add the domain. The welcome sequence guide records what it looks like from the other end: an address showed as Verified and was still missing from the list you can send from, and systeme.io's reason was that another account had already authenticated its domain.
Three more rules on the same page
Authentication is not optional. systeme.io states that authentication of a domain name is mandatory to send emails from systeme.io.
The domain needs a working site on it. Its warning is that if the domain leads to a 404 error page, email providers may block your emails.
A personal email provider's domain will not do. It names Gmail, Yahoo and ProtonMail, and says only custom domains can be authenticated.
Authenticating is not the last step
To send from an authenticated domain you also have to confirm the sender email address on it. That confirmation is a separate job from the domain records, and systeme.io points at its own article for it.
What the setup actually involves
Profile picture, then Settings, then Emails, then the Domains section. Entering the domain without the www and clicking Save generates three CNAME records plus a DMARC record, and all of them go into the DNS at your domain host.
